ABOUT
Built to answer one question: what do people actually think is best?
LiveRank is a community-driven ranking platform where every opinion has a lifespan and a weight. Rankings reflect current consensus, not historical accumulation.
Who builds it
LiveRank is a solo project by Lucas Mendes, built with modern AI-assisted development tools. There is no team — just a founder, a product vision, and a commitment to keeping rankings honest.
The platform is built with Go, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis on Netcup hardware in Germany. The design philosophy: every architectural choice should serve ranking integrity first.
The philosophy
Rankings everywhere suffer from two problems: they stale quickly, and they treat every opinion equally. LiveRank solves both with decaying votes (freshness) and trust-weighted scoring (quality).
Read the full philosophy in the LiveRank Manifesto.
The commit trail
LiveRank is transparent about how it is built. The development history, technical decisions, and architectural evolution are visible in the public GitHub repository. Follow the commits to see exactly how the platform is evolving.
